Aqua Bamboo and Spa, 2425 Kuhio Ave, Honolulu, Oahu
http://www.aquaresorts.com/oahu/bamboo-spa/home/ $75 – 150 per night/room. This hotel is a beautiful small oasis is bustley Waikiki. Next to the fact that the Aqua Bamboo has only 80 rooms (some with a kitchenette), the lush garden with the small but adequate pool gives you a nice time out from the crowds back along the beach and Kalakaua Ave. Furthermore, it is not breaking your bank, similar to all Aqua resorts on Hawai’i. The hotel is close enough to everything and just two blocks away from the beach, entertainment, and shopping. Since the rate comes without breakfast (coffee is complimentary) I recommend getting your breakfast at either an ABC Store or at the Food Pantry, a tiny supermarket at Kuhio Ave. |
